These are some guidelines that can help you practise sound healing safely and comfortably.

Soundbaths are not recommended for:

  • Women who are knowingly in the first three months of pregnancy.

  • People who have severe mental health conditions such as paranoid schizophrenia, severe personality disorder, psychosis or extreme bi-polar (unmanaged).

Caution is advised for people who have:

  • experienced sound-induced epilepsy or seizures of any kind (unless managed)

  • other conditions that may be triggered by sound, including tinnitus.

  • metal plates, implants (other than tooth fillings), pacemakers or other devices fitted

  • a severe physical condition

  • pacemakers, artificial heart valves, stents shunts and deep brain stimulation devices.

As always if you are unsure about anything, it is best to disclose it and then we can make an informed decision as to whether to proceed. I may request that you obtain a letter from your GP stating that they have no concerns about your participation.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the event is due to begin so that you can get settled.

The doors will be locked promptly just before the session begins. This is for the safety and security of the group and the maximum effectiveness of the session.

I will send details to you when your booking is confirmed.
